One of my internships in New York City was at the design firm, Stark Design. <PaperMade New York City> is a paper toy book project at Stark Design. The paper designs are simply punched, folded and assembled into a paper toy.

There are several series of PaperMade—Fashion, Sweets, Robots, Monsters, and more—and I was in charge of 20 illustrations in the New York City series. When planar figures were ready from other designers, I along with another illustrator drew illustrations of NYC’s attractions including the Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, Chrysler Building and more. I mainly worked on concepting all illustrations, drawing detailed illustrations, and picking the best color for each illustration.
